Two Rivers Greenway
Planning process and design report to create a uniform design and plan for wayfinding, regulatory, warning and interpretive signage as part of the Two Rivers Greenway, a multi-modal trail network. Spanning a portion of two counties, the need to orient the visiting public to important local destination and have trail users recognize them as part of a regional system is a key objective. Branding of the Two Rivers Greenway involved creation of a logo as a unifying feature that related conceptually to the image and spirit of the riverine geography of the region. The logo is part of a family of signs that is applicable to a variety of information types including trail maps, warning and directional signs, interpretive and education signs, kiosks, trail markers, and pavement markings. Final Report and Presentation made to multiple county committees and agency representatives. Location Maps and cost estimate prepared to seek funding of system.
